About Chef Elisa (they/them)

Chef Elisa is originally from Germany, has friends from all over the world, has lived in Taiwan, and has been located in Atlanta, GA since 2021.  They draw their inspiration from all the different cuisines they have experienced and love to adapt their dishes according to what grows around them. 

Chef Elisa likes to emphasize regionality and seasonality by adapting their menus to the respective season and focusing on locally grown produce. They cook from scratch and prioritize a whole foods plant-based diet to create nutritionally balanced meals. 

Besides cooking, Chef Elisa is also well-versed in different tea cultures. They have learnt the Taiwanese tea art, taught themselves Chinese Gong Fu Cha, and have attended classes in Japanese Chado according to the Urasenke school.

Are you looking for delicious vegan food without the stress to plan, shop, and prepare it by yourself? Chef Elisa curates a weekly changing menu that only requires you to heat up and serve the food according to the instructions provided.

 

Chef Elisa will come to your home and bring everything they need to cook up deliciously versatile vegan food according to your wishes. 

The food is packaged in reusable glass containers with a leak-proof BPA free lid or reusable BPA free bags.

FAQ

Q: Can you make meals gluten free? Soy free? Nut free? Free of certain ingredients I'm sensitive to?

A: My aim is to create food that is as inclusive as possible. I can easily provide gluten free options, but please be aware that I'm not certified gluten free.

I can adapt to a soy free diet and a nut free diet in limitation. I try my personal best to provide you with food according to your wishes. But be aware that I'm not certified allergen free and therefore cannot guarantee cross-contact free food.

Feel free to contact me for any other dietary restrictions.

Q: Is your food whole food plant-based?

A: Almost always yes. I cook from scratch and use whole ingredients wherever I can. Occasionnally, I will use condiments that are pre-made. In this case, I will make sure that the ingredients are in congruence with my own cooking style.

Q: Do you use organic ingredients?

A: Wherever possible, I will use organic ingredients. If I cannot find an ingredient certified organic, I will make sure it is non-GMO and free of artificial flavors and colors.

Q: How oily is your food? 

A: I rarely deep-fry my food and mostly try to use methods with less oil. Some of my meal components are even oil-free. But generally, I do not avoid oils actively and will use olive oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, and cold-pressed flaxseed oil (for salads only) as well as whole nuts ands seeds.
